We did it. Now the Story Begins.
Together, our community raised $1,083,184 to bring the Mariemont Theatre into nonprofit operation and secure its future as a home for independent film.
This extraordinary effort was powered by
43 leadership gifts,
286 individual donations,
and 400 members who chose to invest in the future of moviegoing in Cincinnati (January 29 - July 29th.)
This isn't the finish line - it's finally - the starting line. It’s time to get to work! The campaign gave us the opportunity to restore the building. Now comes the exciting part: filling it with stories, filmmakers, students, and neighbors.
As we prepare for our targeted end-of-August opening, we're growing our team and hiring for several positions, with the support of our business partner: LADD, Inc. If you're passionate about film, hospitality, and building community, we'd love to hear from you.
Next up is our Grand Reopening, The Cindependent Film Festival and the launch of a vibrant year-round cinema filled with first-run independent films, special events, education, and conversations that bring people together.
The theatre is ready.
Now it's time to fill it with stories.
